I am shooting a Kimber Super America with a 22" tube that has 1:11 twist rate!I purchased a few of the Berger 175gr VLD Hunting bullets! Is it possible to get them close to the lands and still have enough left for neck tension? I thought I would ask before I muffed up several! "Shoot Low Sheriff; he's ridin a shetlend"

They are easy to get to shoot well, especially if you follow Berger's seating depth suggestions. Good Luck! Wsmnut Belief is often the death of reason.

A lot will depend on the length of the magazine. I dunno about the latest Kimbers, but the magazine of the.300 WSM I had several years ago was too short even for Ballistic Tips to be seated close to the lands.
