A lot less than most of you, a lot more than I need...
If the place went up in flames today and I knew the wife/kids were safe, I'd just grab the Super 8 and the old 10/22 and not look back.

I'm up to 2 dozen centerfires. Seven of those are 22cal, but all bolt actions - no ARs yet. 3 22lr 2 20ga 5 12ga
Those who must raise their voice to get their point across are generally not intelligent enough to do so in any other way.

I've sold far more than I'd like to think about , but manage to keep 8-10 centerfires around pretty consistently.

My father, a boater, once aked me how many guns I owned, and was shocked that I didn't have the exact number right at hand. I told him I could rattle off the list, but never really put a number to it. When I said that a quick guess would be maybe 20, he just about dropped his phone. He's not opposed to guns, even owns a couple, but apparently doesn't see why anyone needs so many.
Anyway, the number is in a constant state of flux, and is best described as "almost enough". Ditto. My count has only gradually increased over the years as I tend to sell stuff to buy more stuff and that doesn't make for large numbers on hand. Maybe 3-400 though if I had kept every gun that passed through my grubby mitts.

About a year ago I figured I had too many hunting rifles and way too much redundancy within them. I figured I would be further ahead with just a few quality rifles and stock up on components for then and shoot them a lot to build up a high level of proficiency with each. So I purged.
I currently have:
My practical do everything, anywhere and in any weather rifle: Rem 700 Mountain SS in 7mm08, bedded into a Wildcat Composites stock. 6 lbs 3 oz with scope and rings. (I backpack sheep hunt)
My "nice" rifle: Ruger No. 1 in .300 H&H, with a stunning piece of walnut. This rifle will double as a Plains game rifle.
My practice/volume/drill running rifle: CZ 527 Carbine in 7.62x39. Still has a full LOP and it is cheap as heck to shoot so it is very useful to practice positional shooting ect.
Rimfire: CZ 455 Lux. Accurate, quality .22lr, enough said.
Still need a Dangerous game rifle, even though it will be many years before I get the chance to do it. Probably going to be a Ruger RSM or CZ.

Since I live in a state where they may knock on my door and ask this very question, I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may incriminate me. Guns? We don't got to show you no stinkin guns!

I have so many I couldn't find a recent purchase, while looking for it I found a NIB rifle that I forgotten about! I did find the rifle I was looking for! I know, I have a problem! I am in this boat
Enjoy the hunt while it lasts!

Only my closest friends know that. A few of them are on here, but wont say.
So I will. I have two. A Mossberg 4x4 in 30-06 and a Nylon 66 .22 cal.

My uncle have 'let's buy another rifle' fever as he owns about 200 rifles that he knows of. He also bought another unknown amount from a local gun auctioneer over the years which he never collected and have yet to apply for the licences.

I learned that I need to have one of something rather than five of something. What I used to do was if I bought a rifle I really enjoyed I'd buy several more of the same model. Then I found while I did enjoy them collectively it took away the joy of the individual rifle that I had before.
