Going to shoot it next week with some handloads. The pressure points are gone and barrel floated. If it does okay that way, he is good to go. If not, will fill the voids and bed it per directions given in thread here.
He is a new shooter so the group size seemed like shooter error at first glance. Then I put a few rounds through it and it truly was a 3-4 moa rifle to start with.
