Gents,

It looks like I may be in the market for a new Alaskan stock to put on a new Stiller Predator Build. I've had two previously fitted with the full aluminium bedding block but on checking the B&C website, it looks like the design has been modified to incorporate a 'modified lug block and pillar'. I'd welcome opinions from those that own the new design as to whether it is equal to the old full aluminium block design.

Thanks and regards,

Tim

I have this exact stock on a Rem. 700 ADL in .243. The stock has an excellent feel to it and shoots sub-MOA. The aluminum "block" sits just behind the lug which looks plenty stout for it's purpose. It does have the pillars like their other stocks.

Know that this stock does come with a raised area (i.e. pressure points) in the barrel channel where the barrel will reside against. Therefore, barrel is not free-floated if that matters.
