About a half an hour after being deported from the United States, a Mexican man jumped to his death off of a bridge, according to local reports Tuesday. The man, 45-year-old Guadalupe Olivas Valencia, was found unconscious next to plastic bag containing his belongings, reported the BBC. He died soon after in the hospital.

Suicide is tragic and my heart goes out to the family. Many times (like this case) the person involved sets a chain of events in motion that leads to them feeling like this is the best alternative and that's very unfortunate.

What's not usually addressed is all the innocent legal citizens that are harmed financially and emotionally as well as the ones who are harmed or killed physically as a result of illegal immigration. I feel for the immigrants but, bottom line, if they would have followed the law NONE of this would've happened in the first place!

i read the LA slimes on this and there was not one concrete piece of evidence one way or the other as to how he happened to fall. nothing but a hit piece on the deportations.

I must be missing something here. I have no problem with the fact that he returned to the land of his birth. But the part about his "handlers" got past me. Who were they and where were they mentioned? I can guess that he worked for somebody from the south but I didn't see it.

I guess this fellow was at the end to the rope. Our country was founded by people who were depressed by government. Our founding fathers left their native country to form a better one. In the illegals case they need to return to their country and make changes.
