So the army wasn't dangerous enough for you huh? A postal worker prayers sent.

Seriously congratulations!

Thank you for your service. Congratulations on your retirement. Make no mistake, you will be a big loss to your troops but I'm sure your family is glad to have you back full time. I hope your plans for the future come to fruition.

Thank you for what you have done for our country as a soldier and leader.

Congratulations on a job well done. I hope you thoroughly enjoy what you have earned, not the least of which is a strong sense of satisfaction.

Our son has five years in as a 68W and has a sgt position in line when he gets back from his current deployment to the middle east. The GI benefits for him have already paid off big league with the tuition reimbursement, which he will continue stateside. He will also have a nice sum of money in the bank when he returns. If you work hard and do a good job, the US military paves a great career path.

Hopefully he will be able to look back on his tenure someday with as much satisfaction, and with as many accomplishments as you.

I hope you truly enjoy the "rest" of your life! You've honorably served and defended our country and deserve the best of your days ahead of you.

Just remember that the guys out here in the world don't have the same sense of honor and team mentality as the group you've been with the last 20 years. Even the FK Ups in there aren't as bad as the ones out here. You'll miss the groups but you'll make more money with a lot less accountability now.

Welcome to the break and change.

It's a new world now, different in many respects. I remember when I first retired after 20, the one thing that sicks in my mind is in the morning, what should I wear?? Never had that issue on active duty..

I want to thank you and your family for your service to our country! Without our military, we would not be the strong country.

Enjoy your retirement.

Congrats Brent....

I remember you counting the days when we had lunch back last June...

Best of luck on the new career, and as KC said, don't forget to utilize that GI Bill you've earned...

Thanks once again for you and your family's hospitality last summer....

and now maybe you can spend a little more time with that 7 x 57, out hunting stuff...

all the best my friend!

cheers
