This is a new offering from Nikon which seems to retail for around 1200 bucks.

Has anyone acquired this yet and put it through its paces. It seems kind of costly for what you get. It's supposed to range out to 1900 yds but I'm sure that would be off a highly reflective target. I've always liked Nikon optics so I'm sure that it is great in that area and was wondering more about its ranging ability, also it seems kind of hefty at 31 oz

It and the new Vortex model look like clones of each other to me.

From what I've heard from my industry contacts, they're not anything worth getting excited about if you already use quality optics.

Leupold is coming out with a set as well, rumor has it the street price will be north of 2500.00
