30-30 came out in 1895, so I can't conceive of a reason for Savage doing an 1895 In it. Heck, they wouldn't even stamp the name of 30WCF on them when they did come out in 1899's, Savage was stamping 30 SAV on them.
But, never say never.
“ The Savage 99 Pocket Reference”. All models and variations of 1895’s, 1899’s and 99’s covered. Also dates, checkering, engraving.. Find at www.savagelevers.com

I have a letter on an early Savage 1899, and it took 14 months from the time it was ordered to be shipped from the warehouse.
In the period of transition from Marlin producing the lever gun.... back to Savage, can't help but think there were some guns that weren't assembled until Savage got up and running. Creating a delay, of God knows how long. Ya'll know more about this than I do, I'm just a beginner.
Like gnoaah said, money will get you anything !! Calhoun said all when he said "never say never".

Plab,
Our rifles are nearly triplets. 22 inch barrels and crescent butt plates.
The front sight on mine looks like your top pictured rifle.
The only thing different about mine is the chambering.
Take care...
