Screw California's investments....
the state is financially in the hole as always...
CA, WA and OR are examples of what the entire country would be like if Hitlery had won the presidency....
all 3 are ran by Liberal DemocRATS....

They are threatening ANY company that works on the wall, not just California businesses. And they are going to pull any stocks from said companies ( divestment), state of Ca location or not. I suspect big engineering contractors will be involved, maybe Bechtel Int'l, Bigee crane, etc. The University of California, is run by Clinton backed Janet Napolitano, I believe.

Sounds to me like a couple of loons need to find out what retired employees think of their retirement funds being used to make a political statement. Besides since it is in the form of stock, divesting will have no effect on the day to day operation of the business. Or its bottom line.

Well
~ 95% of the retiree's are Liberal school teachers, the rest are retired Los Alamos and Lawrence Livermore former employee's and the rest Conservative teachers. I believe there are about 5000 Livermore retiree's in the mix of UC retiree's, not sure how many Los Alamos retiree's stayed UC. Most Livermore retiree's that kept their retirement package in the UC system have retired, the rest choose to transfer their retirement package to Bechtel consortium's system when UC lost the contract in 2007, 2006 for Los Alamos.

Hire your labor in Mexico. Freight the supplies from AZ, NM, or TX. You would be helping the Mexican economy recover - while helping our BP (AND F'king CA, and all their lib's) Not only no taxes in CA - but NO money spent in that God-forlorn piece of real estate.

A CA company could just form a new company to do this construction and then shut it down when the contracts are completed. I think that companies could sue. Doing work on the wall is legal and the state can't black ball companies for doing this work.

Not all of Washington is like kalafornakate, Just the Seattle aazzhowls. Eastern Washington and the East King County are very much Trump. But back to our regular programming, Cal lawmakers are going to make it tough for any contractor to build that wall. Permits, inspection and all are going to have to be taken over by some Fed. program that will supercede cal laws.
I'd rather die in a BAD gunfight than a GOOD nursing home.

Everything here in California is over regulated. My father had a favorite saying:
"You can't take a dump in California without a permit!"
It's true! You need a permit to build a septic tank or hook up to a sewer system. The lib's are just plain idiots!
