Just want to add my thanks to all that have contributed so generously with parts, time and talents and a special note of appreciation to SKane who coordinated the whole project.
May Bob's family find some solace in his loss with the thought that so many strangers think so highly of his memory here on the 24 Hour Campfire.
"It is wise, though, to remember above all else: rifle, caliber, scope, and even bullets notwithstanding, the most important feature of successful big game hunting is to put that bullet in the correct place, the first time!" John Jobson
Bob's passion for mule deer was evident and it was a common bond between us and I sure hope whoever ends up with this rifle decides to hunt with it out west.
Just wanted to throw a picture up of my new Mashburn. Bob helped me spec the entire thing out and since back in Dec I knew he wasn't doing great I decided to get something cool on the rifle. Hope you all don't mind me putting these up.
Brief update: Just got word from one of Bob's friends - he's heading over to the family's home to video the drawing. Will post the video when I receive it or have the link.
For the guy's hitting the refresh button every two minutes, this should give you a reprieve for a couple of hours.

Scott, I just walked in the door and will admit to checking this thread before I bothered to remove my dirty work clothes. Wife wasn't impressed...grin
