I fouled up the firing pin on my B78 and, while it still ignites, the primer strike is pretty shallow and shows signs that the pin is rough on one side.

It was caused by me forcing the lever closed on a shell that was slightly protruding from the chamber.

I have the spare parts but have never taken one apart. Can I just knock the pin out, drop the assembly, and remove the old pin, spring, and bushing without special tools; or will it be more complicated than that?

Thanks for any thoughts.
