$810? Half that would be high.

Kind of homely too. Think I'd rather have the Flat Top Blackhawk in .44 Special.

Great move by Lipsey's, this is the configuration a lot of guys wanted when the 3" stainless version came out. $810 MSRP is about right. Street price should be around $650 which isn't out of line for a new DA revolver these days. This ain't a Taurus or a Charter Arms. wink

Should have left off the full lug on the barrel

A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

Agree 100% on the half-lug, would make for a quick-handling gun. Though these days they'd probably take the lug off and replace it with a picatinny rail because...um...because...tactical

I never liked that grip style. I remember when they first introduced it.

We are never satisfied. I too would have preferred the half lug.....and I do like stainless. My 3" GP100 .44 Special has become one of my favorite revolvers, but a stainless half lug would be interesting, maybe with a 4" barrel. I'd have to have that one.

If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

Knowing Lipsey’s this mean a stainless version can’t be far behind. Half lug is way, way mo’ better looking. At least they made it a 5”. To each their own but I love the original grip and can’t stand the new one with finger grips they put on GP-100’s. The rubber grip on the 3” .44 GP-100 is probably the best blend of all.

I live it, the five inch barrel is a good idea. The full lug can easily be turned into a half lug.

I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

That looks awesome. I like look/feel of the old school GP 100 grips too.

Wish I hadn't seen this cause I don't have the money for it at the moment. Stainless would be nicer but other than that it's the configuration I have wanted.
