No problem for me, I have pre-64's, Mausers, none have blown up... shocked

But, I think the round bolt, CRF is an elegant solution to a problem that may not exist.

Just cool.

Edited to add my "Whoops" thread demonstrating the strength of a 50's vintage FN Mauser action. And it's an "H" configuration, with not one like the "C" types, but two raceways cut thru. And, It's an old style CRF, no three rings of steel here...

They are moving to a different location. They are not closing. They are changing their venue. This isn't bad instead production will go back to gunsmiths and not bean counters. This is what we want anyway. I would rather have a manufacturer who takes a personal interest in the manufacture of their rifles.

The only failure to feed causing a jam in my decades of hunting was with a control round feed. It was last year when I borrowed a Kimber .308. The other failure to feed I was a witness to was a .375 H&H with round nose bullets. He had to switch to pointed bullets for the rifle to function.

Needless to say I dislike control round feed.

As a representative of LAW Holdings, parent company of Legendary Arms Works, I readily deny Jack Lyons’s claims regarding the state of Legendary Arms Works. LAW has not ceased producing rifles and continues selling them through Cabela’s, Sportsman’s Warehouse and over 140 dealers nationwide. LAW is in the process of moving to an improved facility in Harrisburg, PA and enhancing its production capability, to include improved material procurement and supply chain management.

Legendary Arms Works continues to produce the rifle actions Jack Lyons is attempting to assemble and sell. Should you choose to purchase actions through Jack Lyons you will be purchasing counterfeit merchandise produced without the consent of LAW Holdings and Legendary Arms Works. We encourage you against doing so. If you have earnest interest in owning a true Legendary Arms Works or 704 action, please go to www.legendaryarmsworks.com.
