I will be hunting New Jersey for the first time this coming fall, I have decided to purchase an inline so I can hunt there firearms and Muzzleloader seasons with one weapon.
I just went and held an Accura MR (scoped) and Optima V2 (mount only). The Optima V2 had a thumbhole stock, my eye was dead center through the scope mounts, rock solid. On the MR it seemed like I was a bit low on the crosshairs and had to come up a bit to get a good sight picture.
I wonder if the drop height is the same between the V2 thumbhole and the V2 regular stock... I'm not a huge fan of thumbhole, it's awkward to carry in the crook of your elbow.
The biggest thing I like about the Acura that is different from the Optima is the rubberized stock, it felt absolutely awesome. The adjustable trigger isn't a big deal to me.
Who has shot the two muzzleloaders and what was your experience?

Either one is a great gun, so it just depends on which you like the handling characteristics best. I personally prefer the Accura MR. For me, it balances better with the slightly shorter barrel, and, at only 6.35 pounds for the bare gun, is a pleasure to carry. Accuracy is superb, although I have found them to be a bit finicky until you find the load it likes. Once you find it, then it's lights out for whatever you shoot it at............. The last one I had would put 250 grain Hornady SST or Monoflex bullets, over 110 grains by volume of Blackhorn 209, into the same hole at 50 yards.
While it's true that all liberals are crazy people, not all crazy people are liberals.

I have the Optima V2 with regular stock and it is a great shooter. A cousin has the Accura MR and it is about half a pound lighter than mine and it is a great shooter too. The Accura advertises a Bergara barrel, but the Optima is a Bergara too . Maybe the Optima barrel is not polished as well, but I don't see any difference in accuracy. At age 66 I don't see the need to ever buy another muzzleloader after the Optima. I have the Blackhorn 209 breechplug and it gives instant ignition at any temp. The trigger is light and crisp. It lacks nothing unless you want the shorter barrel and the half pound weight savings.
