Ok guys I bought a used Citori grade III that had the stock cut to 12"
What are some options to get to full length?
Can I buy a replacement stock set?
Aluminum extension?
The metal is in great shape wood currently has a couple safe marks
Reason I'm asking,,,, I love the metal but after I had bought this my wife bought me a new crossover for my birthday and I don't need two over unders
Love. The feel of the crossover to swing and pull up

You can add spacers and a recoil pad, but adding 2" might make it look weird. You can call Browning and get another stock(expensive) or check with Midwest guns for a stock relpacement(also expensive, but probably less than Browning). Or consider going to Wenig and have a custom stock made to your specifications. Or just try to sell it as is.

First thing I'd do is contact Browning and check on the cost of replacing it.
Likely, it will be pretty high, so I'd suggest trying to sell it as-is as was suggested. Some short guy or a gal might be happy to get it, but be prepared to wait on the right buyer. Any attempt to fix it will either be expensive or cut its value more, I believe. The best course would have been not to buy something you really can't use, but that ship has sailed.

It's remotely possible that with patience you can find a used replacement set, but it won't be easy, especially since you will want both pieces so the grain and finish match.

Sounds like a good candidate for a Graco recoil system.

First you have to figure out how old your gun is, as Browning has changed their stocks and guns through the years. I believe there are 3 or 4 different stock and receiver changes. A good place to start is Midwest gunworks. They work on Brownings and have lots of parts and are way faster and cheaper than Browning. But first you have to know when you gun was made.

I second the suggestion to sell it as is. Last year, I rewarded myself with a new Beretta target gun after a pretty good year of shooting. My wife began to shoot more with me, so at Christmas time it was her turn. I found a 2 barrel 12/20 CG someone had spent tons on (24 barrels, 12 1/4 lop etc) and made a low - about the same as a new B gun - offer. I got it! (Probably because of the short barrels but....my wife loves it). My point is you will spend more than u will recoup to change it back and some one will want it as is. Put it on Shotgun world and here and I bet it sells - A used grade 3 for the smaller person or growing child fairly priced will move.
