Who is selling these? I called a few dealers listed on their website and they weren't stocking any of them. I would love to check one out in person but no dice thus far. Thanks.

I just checked their website and it's not listed. I wish I could find one at dealer cost. I have an FFL but of course they don't have distributors...only stocking dealers...that don't seem to stock much.

Yukon,

They stopped making the 75 action and started making the 85 which is pretty much just a new bolt.

In the 85 they made the synthetic the same weight as the finn light so I'm guessing it's the new fin light.

Cabelas has a couple of 75 7-08 fin lights.

I've read the archived posts on the 75 but not the 85 yet. I'll check them out. I'm interested in a 6.5 or WSM and would probably put an Edge stock on it anyway.

The 85's aren't supposed to show up in mass until March or so but I've seen a few posts saying guy's have seen them - not a good report on the new synthetic stocks yet, but the wood ones have better checkering.

Scott's just sent me a flyer with Finnlights for sale in it. Not sure what's up. I don't like the look of the stocks on the new 85's. My 75 ain't going anywhere though.........

I don't care for the look of them either. Anyone got a photo of one in the Edge stock? I saw some archived posts but the photos have "expired".

Do you remember what it was? I haven't checked the ANC store yet but Great Northern Guns doesn't carry them even though they are a Sako dealer.

Thanks. Sounds interesting. A 300 wsm would cover much of my hunting and the 375 would cover the rest. I've told friends that I wouldn't buy one of the "alphabet soup" calibers but some of them sound decent...although still an answer to a question I didn't ask <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

FWIW, I almost bought the Finnlight and ended up getting the Kimber Montana in 300WSM instead, after fondling both in great detail and asking a million questions on this forum from owners of both, I decided to give the Kimber a chance and have no remorse on my decision. Good luck finding what your looking for.

Yukon delta, I've put 2 finnlights in an edge. I posted pic back on 18 dec. If they are gone pm me your email and I'll send you some. I too don't like the look of the 85's. The model 75 finnlights are drying up fast so don't wait. I'll be bringing my 300wsm finnlight to Ak this year, a great rifle set-up for sure! Last I checked there was a 3oowsm finnlight on guns america.

Hey wait a minute - if the 85 only differs from the 75 on the side of the bolt itself (this is what I've been told), and the stock (which your planning to replace) then what's the hurry.

Here is a link to Beretta's photo gallery.

The 85 finn light

The 85 series (all the same rifles but in 85 action)

I'm going to wait given there's a new controlled round coming out.

Of course the only problem is the the new feed could be a POS.

Half-minute accuracy, while pleasant to observe, is in no way superior to one-minute accuracy in any serious rifle.
