I have to admit, I really like this photo a buddy took, of my Jeep and trailer crossing a creek last week in mule deer country, Washington: Guy

I make it a point to park mine for a few minits in a stream like that at the end of the season to get the undercarriage washed free of mud and debris. Usually turn around and do it from both directions.

Drive through fast, it cleans it better

Yep, need to know more about the trailer, please.

The trailer is a Jackwagon Basecamp. I bought it used just a few months ago. So far, I'm really impressed with it. Tracks well, and has no problem on rough roads. Aluminum box measures 6' long, 4' wide and 2' deep. Payload is about 1,000 lbs. Rides on a real nice suspension and this one has electric trailer brakes. The manufacturer is down in Arizona, and they offer a lot of custom options that don't seem to be shown on their website. Link: http://www.jackwagonoffroad.com/

I've tried alot of hunting vehicles over the years. 3/4 ton trucks of various sorts, SUV's like the old Int. Scout, and the Jeeps. I've owned two and currently have a '14' Wrangler. The only modification I'vew done to it is to put a Tru-Trac in the front diff. Their only drawback is lack of space for carrying camping gear, etc. But you've solved that problem. What's really cool about them is their small size, manuverablity, and being able to open them up for unlimited visibility. I take the windows out of mine and remove the driver's side dorr when I hunt desert mulies. You wouldn't believe how much easier that makes hunting fresh tracks. E

I agree that is a cool photo Guy. Your rig looks well thought out and capable, without getting large and garish. I look forward to future hunting photos that include the Jeep. It might become as famous on the 'Fire as your .25-06.

Well done, GuyM and thanks for the trailer info.
Many years ago I owned a "Pack Mule" model trailer and rue the day I ever sold it.

maiden voyage on the new tires yesterday. Pretty country, but I can't see the tires.

That's more like it!
That's a nice tire size. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on the new KO2 after a year's worth of weather conditions.

so far so good. they do run small though. these measured ~32.5" with ~35 psi when I checked them to adjust the speedometer. I still need to double check the speedo against the GPS to confirm the tire size input though
