Even if Levis were cheaper I would go with Wranglers because Levi company is anti-gun.

So your entire shopping and real life daily usage/consumption is limited only to those who are expressly pro-gun?

If acceptable choices are available, and there's a pro gun option, why not?

Wrangler or carhartt, unless it's really cold, then costco insulated jeans. Waterproof ariatt ranch boots, and whatever shirts were on sale at the ranch supply store.

And of course a zebra skin thong.

Neither compare to Duluth Firehose 5 pockets. And I wore them both equally for a long time until I saw the light.

Duluth pants and jeans are pretty pricey, I have some of their shirts and outerwear that I feel is a good value. I wore Wranglers as a kid, Levis after that then L.L. Bean. For the last 3-4 yrs. I have been wearing Walmart Rustler brand jeans, they're made in the USA and seem to give good wear.

Levies are anti everything we at the fire hold dear. The day I went to their web site and saw a petition to ban all firearms in the US then their support of a music group who did cop killer music was the day I stopped buying ant Levi product. My jeans come from Texas Jean Co because they re an American company manufacturing quality jeans in America.

Duluth Firehose pants are my favorite. Mine have 10 outside pockets if you count the small ones, and a loop on either side that you can easily hang a claw hammer in. These pants are tough including the pockets. The pockets are made out of the same tough material the pants are. Also there is a tough velcro close inside pocket on the left side that I carry twenty $100 bills in when I travel. My .38 S&W rides in the right front pocket. They may cost twice as much but probably last 4 times as long. I'm hard on clothes. I know the question was Levis or Wranglers but I couldn't help myself.

Back in the '60s I always had two pairs of Lee Riders and loved them. Now I have two pairs of Wranglers. I don't buy from queer loving companies, not that two pair make any difference.

Frankly the best jeans I ever owned were made by a Virginia company called Britches. 20 years later and I'm still wearing them. They also, crafted great outdoor clothes of all types. Even suits in their higher end stores.

Wanting to try the Duluth brand.

Have lots of Dickies and Carhartt. In just about everything.

I am still wearing Costco "jeans" bought when I lived there as late as 2009. They were made in Canada, same as my underbritches collected years ago from Mervyn's, Canadian made. Bullet proof as mine depict multiple room numbers in construction camps abroad where laundry was done daily. Even more amazing is that I wear the same size decades later.

IMO, 'western' wear is getting uber gay.

LMAO. Couldn't agree more with your assessment or description. I wouldn't be caught dead in some of the gay jeans common today. Make my jeans plain pockets or a very simple stitching design.

...and since those days they have moved all of their production off shore and continued to raise the price of their jeans. I would not be caught dead in any Levi clothing. I currently own Wrangler, Gander Mountain, & Cabela's jeans.
