And the morels are popping! Found about 8 lbs. so far. I can think of few things better than pan fried morels with a dry aged ribeye chaser!

Season flour with salt, pepper and a small amount of lemon pepper. Toss the morels with the flour mixture in a zip lock bag and place into a hot skillet full of butter. Fry until crispy. The electric fry pan you see above works well as it is not as hot on one end as the other. Just kind of work them from one end to the other.

First a good overnight soak in salt water to drive out the critters is the custom here.
