A long shot, but....
Iowa is now allowing rifles for deer season.....straight-walled handgun cartridges only.
Would like a 375 Winchester barrel for my Encore. Blued or stainless.

Governor Signs Two Fireams-Related Bills Into Law
The two most noteable bills for folks in northwest Iowa are the Omnibus Firearms Bill that’s been garnering so much attention lately, and a bill to allow deer hunters to use rifles using straight wall ammunition.
HF 475 is the bill that makes it legal to use certain rifles, those that fire “straight wall” cartridge calibers to hunt deer in the state.
Iowa hunters will have a new option this fall while hunting deer during the youth season, disabled hunter season and both shotgun seasons – rifles that are capable of shooting straight walled cartridges.

Hunters may only use straight wall ammunition that is allowed for pistol hunting. There is a list of acceptable calibers in the Iowa Hunting and Trapping Regulations.

Only the following center-fire cartridges may be used: .357 Magnum, .357 Maximum, .375 Winchester, .38 Super, .40 S&W, .401 Powermag, 10 mm Auto, .41 Remington Magnum, .41 Action Express, .44 S&W Special, .44 Remington Magnum, .44 Automag, .444 Marlin, .445 Super Mag, .45 ACP, .45 Colt, .45 Super Mag, .45 Winchester Magnum, .45 Silhouette, .451 Detonics, .454 Casull, .45-70 Govt., .460 Rowland, .460 S&W Mag, .475 Widley Magnum, .475 Linebaugh, .480 Ruger, .50 Action Express, .50 Linebaugh, .50 Beowulf and .500 S&W Mag.

Hopefully this brings back the 375 win.and the 357 max both good cartridges .The 405 win and the 450 ,bushmaster should be legal too !

I was trying for a while to find one
I was close to buying a MGM custom
They are on thier site for about 400.00
I found one in the time I was looking and just a few minutes too late

Get Mike Bellm to do you up a 357 Max....it'll do everything that 375 will, with more bullets.....or just call Mike and see if he's got any 375 bores laying around for you.
