wos wondering if anyone here has rebored any of the ruger barrels? have a no 3 in 4 mag that im thinking of sending it out to jes to hae it punched out to 50 alaskan. anybody had anything like this done? pros/cons?

Ruger #3 44 mags are uncommon bordering on rare.........
I'd sell it, buy a donor Ruger #1. The #1 stock will be better for the recoil.

Of all the #3's there are fewer 44 mags than other calibers. The one I have shoots cloverleafs with the HSM 300 gr Bear load
