If you have a LoadData.com account there are no loads showing for .327 but lots of them for .32 H&R Magnum.

I would start about 6.0 grains with either weight bullet and work up...

Max with a 85 grain Bullet is 6.7 and 5.7 for the 100 grain...

Blue Dot should work fine...it is just that no one has tested any yet...and buy a chronograph if you don't have one...it is cheap insurance that every reloader should have.

What kind of gun are you shooting?

The 4.2" SP-101 is a nice gun...have been hoping to find a used one at a decent price. Did find one of the older 3" guns back in January for a good price.

Used the last of my Blue Dot last year on some .41 Magnum loads. Have been trying to use up all my old powder and just have a few around. I've mainly been using AA-7 for the .327s. Have been shooting just one 120 grain cast bullet but recently bought some Hornady 85s as the SP-101 shoot a little high with the heavy bullet and I found a Single-Six with fixed sights in .32 G&R that shoots right on the money with Federal 85s.

just loaded a few acme 78 gr lipstick bullets is all i have done so far with hp38.
i got some 85 xtp bullets too Bob and was wanting to use blue dot.
i think when i get the last of my blue dot, RL7,RL15,R17 used up i will stick
with Hodgdon brands as Alliant can't take the time to produce load data
they can keep it.don't get me wrong i like the powders and used them for years
But very little load data .so inturn i feel if they don't have time to give us reloaders
data for the powders why support them and buy the powder.sorry rant over .lol
