We have some serious shooters here.. I was thinking just how much do you shoot .22's.. I used to shoot only .22's then bought bunch of Ruger single actions in all the larger calibers.. One day I sold all & went back to .22's.. Now I have a bunch of Smith's, some glocks , a couple 1911's & some Rugers... Have done almost no shooting w/ my .22's for the last six years..😳 Started using them for plinking again. It is fun , low noise, and NO need reload😁 I do use my rifles for gophers, but the pistols have been gathering dust..
So how much do you use you rimfires..

A lot... Nearly every range session has a .22 along. It's hard to not shoot 100 rounds through a .22 pistol once you get started and usually the round count is substantially higher.
Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

Dan Wesson Model 15 in .22 gets used every range session. Minimum 50 rounds.

Like the others, I shoot 22 handguns every range session. I like doing so enough that I have a Freedom Arms 22lr Model 97 on its way, and it should be here by end of the week.

Have done almost no shooting w/ my .22's for the last six years..😳 Same for me. I used to shoot ~500 rounds per week of .22 sometimes, but hardly ever use them any more except with the kids. Not because there's anything wrong with the round, but because of ammo availability. It's easier and cheaper for me to load 9mm instead, so that's what I shoot the most now.

My .22's are my most used firearms by a lot. Both pistols and rifles.

Just shot 100 rounds or more with my GSG 1911-22. Love to shoot it. Cheap to shoot and accurate as hell. Shoot it almost every day. Love my Ruger single six as well. Have to push out the empties so the GSG gets more action now.

How 'bout "not as much as I should?" I mostly shoot my .44s but a couple times a year I take my Ruger Mk III target full of Volquartsen parts out. The silly little thing never fails to amaze me with what I can hit with it ... bottle caps out to 75 yards are in a world of hurt. I miss one once in a while ... but not as often as it seems like I ought to. I like having a gun that doesn't just outshoot my twitches and wiggles, but outshoots my eyesight as well. Tom

I didn't used to shoot my Mark IIs very much but once I got my 1st suppressor, I started shooting 22lr 10x more than anything else in the safe!!

Pretty much every range trip, still Shooting my High Standard Citation, and a S&W Model 53 with the optional 22LR cylinder. Folks would probabley say they are to collectable to shoot all the time, but to me that is what they were made for.

When I go shooting, there is any number of guns I may take. But there is ALWAYS one gun that will be going, my S&W 617!

Rarely shoot my High Standard Victor. Much cheaper to shoot my .38's and .45's.

I am down to a single .22 LR handgun, an elderly S&W Model 63. I don't shoot it all that much.

Tom Bottle caps at 75 yds? That is some good shooting! I can't even see a bottle cap at 75 yds.
