I just bought a couple boxes of these to try in my .260. Would appreciate anyone who has experience with these regarding seating depth. Realize every rifle is different but, might be good to know whether these liked to be "jumped' or seated close/in.

These are kinda "pricey" so any info will be appreciated.

I used them in my 264 WM and really liked them a lot. For some reason I never tried them in our 260 or 6.5x55. From my experience they are sensitive to seating depth and often like to be seated deep. I would treat them like a mono bullet and keep going deeper until you find your load. Great bullet at 264 WM speeds and I would think they would do well in the 260. Make sure you start low and work up, they develop more pressure than other bullets of the same weight.

I tried them when I first got my 260 in 2011. They shot ok with the standard 45.0 H4350, maybe around .75. I called the company and they said they like at least 50 thou jump. I moved on to the 130 Berger and ended up at 45.0 H4350. It shoots way below moa at 1000 yards and has done great on about 7-8 bucks since 2011. I had about 5 of my old scirocco load laying around that I found this winter. Just for the hell of it I seated them at the same die setting I have for the Berger's (-130 thou). I shot them at 300 yards and it was one little gob on the steel, less than 2". I can't tell you exactly how far they were jumping but it had to be at least 100 thou. Long way of saying do what Gerry said above.

In my 6.5 rem mag they like .060" off

Same here, I start them at .050" off and so far all of them have performed well at .100" or deeper. Once you find the spot they shoot like crazy though. I like them a lot.

My 6.5x55 ruger with pacnor barrel likes them at .010 off. They wouldn't shoot seated deeper.
