Well today was my last chance to shoot before my upcoming Axis hunt. I pulled the 3rd shot in a 5 shot group so I know the 6.5 CM is ready to rumble. Now if the 1/2 blind old guy behind the trigger can do his job I'll be eating Axis again in a few weeks! The last photo is of a clay pigeon I set up at 200 for my last round....... The hold felt great and I expected it to explode but nothing. I thought I missed it!

Good luck, sir. I think you will do just fine.

I hope you have a great time. Yours it definitely shooting better than mine. Friday I did the last check to verify zero of my .270 for my pig hunt. It regularly shoots an MOA so I figure the pigs are in trouble. I'll leave in about an hour. Don't forget to give is the details of your hunt with photos when you return.

Good Luck sir on your pig hunt! I hope you stack those vermin up like cord wood. I'll post a report from my Axis hunt along with a few photos if they are worthy.

Have you had your 25-06 to the range yet? Yes sir I have but just to zero the glass I put on it! I've got some hog hunting to do later this summer so I'll bring it up to speed before then. I thought about taking it as a back up but I've decided to take an old 300WM as a backup in case I decide to hunt something other than Axis!

Headed out in the morning for 3 days of Axis hunting. God I love hunting during the off season. I'll post a report and a few photos when I return later next week. 👍

Good luck and full report on the return. Bullets loads details etc.
