Need a little boat, paddleboat or canoe or just inflatable raft, from which to drink... and fish.

Oops, missed it in the background.

That sure looks like a relaxing spot to have a frosty beverage and enjoy the quiet company of friends and family. Nice job Rex. 👍

I'm sure your tidal swings are less than we have here. 😉

When it freezes over make it permanent! Chip thru the ice and set poles on the corners. A sledge hammer and some beer makes for a nice winters job. The pond provides the scaffolding. I'm talking about the little 3" metal poles not the telephone poles I set before the water came.

Beautiful! Do you have fish in the pond? Creek fed, spring fed, or run-off.

I'd love to have a piece of property with a spring fed pond someday. Your're living the dream.

Thanks fellas for the compliments.

Pond is spring fed. We did stock it with some fish we got in the creek below the pond. Bass, bluegill, perch and crappie. We might have put in 4-5 dozen fish. Population exploded so we put in about half a dozen musky(12"-18") from the creek to help keep the population in check. Don't know if the musky made it since we've never seen one since putting them in.

That dock sure looks nice. The chairs make think of a fishing lodge in Ontario. The owner had chairs carved from large logs, the guests wold take chairs from the cabins to his dock, not take them back, and wind overnight would blow them in the lake.

Now you can have 40 or 50 of your Campfire Buddies over for a BBQ!

Congrats! Nice job and nice spot.

Hope it gives many good years of service and enjoyment.

Looks like a great 'get away from it all' Spot.

That's a great looking dock. Are you going to have a railing around it, I see you do on the walkway. We have a lake on our place too, about 2 acers. The problem is it has a soft muck bottom so we need a floating dock.

Went back and forth on the railing but decided we wanted it open. The dock is so stable we're glad we made that decision.

The place who built it installs it for free and are in Ohio. Top notch outfit and about half the price of similar docks we found online(and they don't install).
