remember Alben W. Barkley

the consolidation of the states into one vast republic, sure to be aggressive abroad and despotic at home, will be the certain precursor of that ruin which has overwhelmed all those that have preceded. Robert E Lee

46. In pretty good shape and still going strong although there's definitely some things I can tell I'm not 18 anymore. Can still do the same stuff at near the same level but it's the recovery time after a hard day that's changed.

Hey man, I'm a really groovy 64. Far out, ya know?

Uh, I mean yo, yo, yo! I'm like 64, dude, and still a swingin' hep cat. Whether I'll get to 65 remains to be seen... wink

The years go by and before you know it
your youth is gone and now you show it
Youthful shine and unwrinkeled skin
will never be your look again

Color is going from your hair
as white and gray take over there
Your knees no longer let you run
wind in your face that joy is done

Physcial strength of your early years
is wanning, wanning, replaced by fears
Fear of losing what once was you
fear of not doing what you once could do

Do not believe that all is lost
this look you have you've paid the cost
Those lines and wrinkels on your skin
are maps of battles fought hard to win

The drawn tired look, the sighs of strain
They are evidence of suffered pain
Wear this look as a badge of life
It shows you've gone through trail and strife

Experience, the price is high
and you'll keep paying until you die
but just set your sights on goals ahead
and don't look back but FORWARD instead

Doing better than me sport...I cannot see anything up to five paces, cannot hear anything past five paces, and need a breather when I cover five paces.

63, but who's really counting anymore?

We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

FZ1 is a pretty hot machine, a tip of the hat to you. wink Mines' not quite a 09, it's an FZ 07. Just finished putting a tad over 300 miles on it yesterday afternoon and it is the most fun I can have with my pants on. Maybe in a few more years it'll be the most fun I can have with pants on or off, but so far so good in that regard... wink

BE STRONG IN THE LORD, AND IN HIS MIGHTY POWER. ~ Ephesians 6:10

Socialism is a philosophy of failure,
the creed of ignorance,
and the gospel of envy,
its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

The 07 is a sweet bike too. Riding to work and back is the highlight of my day.... other than the IPA I have when I get home to my favorite couch.
