They use rigs like that to haul transformers at times.

Seriously, given my career that was a simple load. When we hoisted 5000 tonnes it got hairy.

I had a fortunate career no doubt. One that took me to my edge multiple times. I am damn glad that has closed.

Never seen wind mills need that many axles. They go through here all the time.

Saw some heavy stuff go through Chinook the other day while I was eating my ice cream.

Big modules with huge fans built into them. I recon they were some sort of dryer/evaporator for the gas fields.

Seems like every compressor I have ever been around had something like that.

something over 80,000 pounds. that rig won't carry something super heavy (look at the beams, they aren't giant) what they are doing is spreading the weight over multiple axles, so that bridge weight limits (pounds per axle) aren't exceeded.

might be a turbine for a powerplant, something like that.

That would be my best guess. Either that or big oil field storage tanks.

They use them to haul super loads . Non divisible loads that exceed 200,000# Those rigs can haul some weight, the power unit has three drive axles.
