Nah, I'm sure the pucker factor finished it off..... would have for me! I'm not afraid of bears unless we are eyeballing - and then only get the shakes after - have them thru the yard all the time, no prob. But I don't go around provoking them either! If you can't baffle them with BS - leave a real slippery trail!

Awesome bear, congrats to the hunter. I hunted them with bow in 2015 and never got a shot, but going back June 1 of 2018.
