I have one in a Winchester classic action by Mark Bansner. 26" barrel and 115 TSX with H1000 gets 3425 fps. I have killed springbok to eland with it. It was under the skin on opposite shoulder of the eland at 125 yards. He went about 60 yards with a blood trail anyone could follow. Wife shot a zebra with her mark V with the same load. It went through both shoulders and the spine and is circling the globe. The zebra was not hard to track, he was laying in them. I have a Zeiss conquest with rapid Z800 reticle. It is almost dead on out to 800 yards. three different shooters shot a 100 yard group of about .75 with it so it does shoot well. If you reload it is really no more expensive to shoot than any other magnum. If you are worried about noise they make ear plugs and bows to remedy that problem. Enjoy it. Be very careful about animals behind the intended target. My son shot a whitetail doe head on and killed the one behind also. Penetrated from front to back on the first and was in the ham of the second doe! It will penetrate with the right bullets! Mark

I own a Remington LSS in 257 Bee, shoots dime sized groups with Weatherby factory 110 grain Nosler Accubonds, $90/box, but worth it!
