The saga of the performance center 40 shield got me to thinking about that gun as a backpacking gun. Anyone shoot any buffalo bore hard cast ammo out of the gun yet? I carry a 9mm g43 now a days but the 40 with a heavy bullet might be more in line with an outdoors hiking gun. I hate the G27 as it kills my second finger every time it fires, so the little Glock would it work for me.

I asked the same thing about the .45 Shield. No usable response. Might have to be the guinea pig test dummy.
