I asked a friend of mine who is in his late 50's about whether it would bother him if he found out his wife was having an affair (innocent question related to us talking about another friend whose wife cheated on him).

he was like "at my age? hell no - just leave the keys in her when your done"

I don't mean this in a derogatory way , but women learn at early age ( as young as 3 to 5 ) to use their brain instead of muscle.
so they are better verbally. that may have something to do with your question.
