But people can belittle me without even knowing me or my business or what's going on?? You guys are some real winners. I admitted when and where I was wrong. If people are going to call me out on my misdoings they better have the facts straight. They are hurting me and my families livelihood without being justified. Someone cries about one simple little thing that I openly admit where I was wrong and that I got in over my head and that I was doing things to make the situation better. ( see I took your advice before you even said it) and then some know it all that knows nothing of the situation chimes in to talk crap because he has nothing better to do then push people around while he sits behind a computer screen and then everyone jumps on the band wagon with out knowing the facts. Bottom line is this is out of control and uncalled for. Being a business owner or not, if someone is going to call the other person out the whole situation better be put on the table, not just little tidbits. Call me a whiner, a girl, whatever makes you fill better but I have justification for setting the story straight.

Sorry but being a business owner dosnt mean I should let people walk all over me and talk crap about something they know nothing about. I'm a person just like everyone else in this forum.
I'm over this thread and I intend to prove everyone wrong and make things right and I'm well on my way in doing so.

5 weeks is "reasonable " to spin in a brake, coat it and then send it out surg an unsafe trigger? Laughable.
My smith chambered a new barrel, spun in a brake, coated it (with 2 colors, norm 1) and accuracy checked my 28 Nosler in two weeks! He is a very good smith and a very good businessman though...... Cool story, troll.

I had Ryan do a rifle for me also, I jumped in on one of the "specials" with a promised 1 month turn around. Well that didn't happen.
It was partially on me, as I had him flute the barrel also.
The unanswered texts, and e-mails, broken promises of delivery dates, and other delays pissed me off, especially when he couldn't make it to the post office to mail my completed rifle, for 3 weeks, but he was on here posting about the new actions he was developing, and how he'd been out shooting them almost every day.
But I finally got my rifle, and the metal work is very nice, it shoots so all that headache is in the past. And really, who hasn't waited longer than you were promised for custom builds, or taxidermy?

My story is pretty much exactly like 358Norma_Fan's. I had two rifles rebarreled, fluted, coated, triggers reworked. It wasn't the longest I had a gun with a smith (not by a long shot), but it was one of the more frustrating. Was told 1 month turnaround and waited 6, Delays, broken promises etc. I was fuming when they arrived to my house. Shot them later that week and went back to back on the tightest groups of my life from really light guns with factory ammo.
Does it make up for all of the stress and headaches? Almost.
Ryan, you're obviously very skilled, but Diablo has a ways to go in regards to earning my business ever again. Under promise and over deliver. The other way around doesn't make for long term success. I wish you all the luck in the world as a small business owner and hope these are just growing pains.

They both shoot well. Both had feeding issues and would not use the double stack mag I provided. Mine was a ss action and the coating is coming off on the action already with just 60 rounds. But the do shoot
