Any experiences with complete WOA uppers, or their barrels? I'm thinking about picking up one of their SPR uppers for a new build.

I purchased one, have yet to shoot it though. My buddy has a SPR barrel from them that he built himself and it is plenty accurate. I believe his go to load was 25.0 grains of Varget and 68 grain BTHP. He is currently on the ELD X kick with the 73 and 75 grains.

John Holliger is a great guy. He has done 4 uppers for me. He stocks barrels from different Mfg.

Excellent barrels, very nicely finished; I don't have any of their uppers as their handguard options are pretty limited & oriented to competitive shooting.
Very, very nice people to deal with.
If you buy a barrel, you'd be well advised to also buy a bolt (or a BCG) from them that will be headspaced to the barrel.

John and WOA stand behind their word. If there is a problem, they will fix it for you to your satisfaction. Can't ask any more than that. To add, their stuff shoots.

in the NRA/CMP high power rifle world, they have a great reputation. The guy that won our club match last weekend was using a WOA upper. I have their website open in another window right now figuring out what options to order from them for my optics service rifle upper any day now....
shoot good

I used a WOA 20" fluted SPR barrel for my latest AR, and I'm very pleased with it.

I should add that I owe my screen name to one of Johns many uppers..... and all 5 points I managed to loose in that leg match were NOT the uppers fault......
