ISIS is, sadly my very first thought. Fires like that's in a modern building, built to codes, indicates arson in my uninformed mind. Jesus. I hope folks were able to get out.

The 1974 town was recently refurbished to give it a face lift,
numerous others building around the world including a number in Dubai and Shanghai have gone up in flames
the flammable outer cladding causing fires to rapidly race up the building.

Regular old electric refrigerators have motors and can definitely catch fire (seen it myself), especially if it's old and in a not-so-clean environment. And then a pressurized refrigeration system can also look an awful lot like an explosion if/when it ruptures.
The astonishing thing to me is that somebody built a multi-story building and coated it with flammable material. Amazing.
