I have a beautiful pre 64 Custom Stocked Model 70 in 270 Winchester with a 24" barrel. Smith is unknown but the fit and finish outstanding, checkering is perfect and very well done. Wood has some light marks as pictured and metal has some speckle's in bluing on top and a bit of wear on the end of the barrel. The trigger is very crisp and bolt is very smooth. Whoever put this thing together knew what they where doing. $1750 shipped to you in the lower 48 from a non FFL
