As a fellow Wyoming resident, you know the lawsuits will tie this one up for years, just like with the wolves. But it's a start.

I'm hoping they learned something with the wolves.

They need to slip de-listing into a bill that Congress passes in order to pre-empt any litigation over the administrative process.

“We have to wait 60 days, but on the 61st day we will sue to stop the delisting,” said Matt Bishop, of the Western Environmental Law Center, a Montana-based nonprofit that intervenes on behalf of conservation groups, referring to the waiting period for filing a lawsuit.

I've always found it interesting that when hunting season starts, the park bears leave the park.
gut piles...
bears are smart.

but but but, if they do that the rivers will dry up all the fish will die , the birds will all lose their feathers, the frogs will all be sterile , the eagles will cease to roam and the buffalo will stop soaring...... oh wait that is the wolf that effects all that....... carry on!

The enviro agenda is to never relinquish a threatened or endangered listing. They won't believe a species can recover and be managed properly. Once the get any protected status, they never want to lose it. The only caveat will be how Secretary Zincke proceeds.

not even sure they believe that, i think it's more they self loath so much that they want "mother nature" to rule rough shod over mankind. i am starting to see a very strong pattern in all of the radical agenda's. if God says something they go the exact opposite .

Some of the highest paid jobs in Jackson are working for the "non-profits". The staff whips up the well meaning but relatively un-informed members to give donations to the cause. The bear and wolf thing is just the same way. If the species "recovers" the money will dry up. Can't have that, so it's doom and gloom no matter how many bears and wolves are walking the landscape.
