IIRC, the old Rem Ti actions were not made by Rem.
hope same outside party is making the new ones to same high standard.

5 Kimbers in the safe, 3 that actually shoot.
but you willl be only carrying ONE of them up the mountain.

A Borden for $6K, does not provide carbon wrap cut-rifling barrel and Ti receiver.
not sure about cerakote.

to some all that means something , to others not.

I recently toured the Remington Custom Shop / Dakota facility, and the impression I got was just that--they will make you a rifle with the Ti action. I did not inquire about the cost.

I think I'd rather have a Fieldcraft.

But I am seriously wanting to bedazzle the back side of my Attack pants.

I have no problem at all with Sitka or Kuiu apparel. They are about the only pants I can get that fit that are dedicated to hunting. Most any other items of hunting apparel are too baggy.

And I'm not "old" yet, but I'm not "young" any more either! I am in relatively good shape as compared to the average person.

I'd of preferred a SS bbl somewhere around KS to MR profile. Stock looks sweet. Price is ridiculous.

I'd sooner grab a Montana and have the money for a few hunts.

I'd prefere a Kimber Adiondack. And I've got a bunch of Remingon 700's. But I'll never buy another new Remington rifle due to their crappy Customer Service.

Hell, I could buy 3 new Kimbers and a couple of nice Leupold scopes for the asking price of the new Rem. KS.

Too many other options at that price point. Or below.

One could build on a Lone Peak TI action, proof barrel, any stock you want along with other good stuff cheaper and have a better gun, would it be worth more down the road? NO, If the custom shop TI fares well they will hold their value + regardless if they are worth it or not. I applaud Remingtion for actually doing something right for a change, I will never buy another newer action to build on, the late RR prefix are junk, quality has gone down the drain, the Barrett Fieldcraft would be worth a hard look in 6.5x55 for a sheep gun.
