Coach Mainieri set the stage for this ass kicking last night when he ran a pitcher in that hadn't pitched one inning in THREE FRIGGIN MONTHS and three runs were made off that pitcher...by WALKS!! This...in the most important game they've played all year long! Out of the previous 14 CWS games played....10 were won by teams that WON THE FIRST GAME!!
Plumb damn unbelievable!!

all I can say is.................GO GATORS. This National Championship was a long time coming. and recently, Florida also picked up National Championships in Men's Outdoor Field and Track, and Woman's Tennis.

Florida is also the only SEC team to have National Championships in Baseball, Basketball and Football and one of only 4 schools to ever do that.
