Saw this on the shelf at my gunsmiths shop yesterday, Had to have it for the coolness factor! I know, Tasco, but Japanese Tasco, and made in the early to mid 60's? Has its own built in tri-pod, powers are 12x and 20 x. Took it outside the shop to check the clarity, looked very clear and sharp to me. So small and compact, I can see me using this!
Anybody have one???

Not quite that old but I have an 80's Leupold 20x50 Gold Ring Spotter that I love. Compact, rugged, clear with excellent eye relief.

Very cool...... I've never seen one of those but a couple years ago picked up an early 1960's Bausch & Lomb Balscope 60 Zoom spotting scope with its original box and owners manual. Some of those old optical products had some real nice glass. Mine had a loose lens in the ocular end and it's currently at Parson's Scope Service awaiting repairs and I'm currently waiting to find out what it's gonna cost. That old Tasco has a definite coolness factor to it..... how much did it cost to bring it home?

Bought an old early 70's Bushnell Stalker with tripod and window mount for 60.00 Not quite as good s my Zeiss Diascope T FL 85mm, but it does great at the 100 and 200 yard bench lines. Probably the best money I've spent on optics in a long time.

I think you stole that Tasco; if it's in good shape, sure looks good on the exterior. That Bausch & Lomb is the exact same model as mine. I also have those original lens covers. I'm looking forward to getting it back.

Bought a 25x60 Mirador at a gunshow in 1990. This is a pic off of the net but mine is the exact same one. Maybe not "vintage" but definitely old school. It's supposedly a rebranded Kowa and even being some 27 years old it's still sharp and clear.
