thinking about a cz 17 hornet. doe's anyone know if they come with rings?

Mine didn't.
I got an adapter that took it down to "normal" size whilst I was pondering which new scope and rings to put on it.

i take it its a grooved receiver? who makes the adapter?

Sorry Ed. I was in a shop when I bought mine and they came out of a drawer with no box.

I just got a new 204 ruger in a CZ to rebarrel for a guy and it came with rings

The American comes with rings and the Lux and Varmint do not.

I have 2 buds with the Varmint in 204 and both rifles came with rings.
Don't know if those were screw ups or what.
The last time that bear ate a lawyer he had the runs for 33 days!

Yeah, I have a .221 American that did not come with rings.
I think it matters how long the box has been sitting in the gun shop.

My Lux didn't come with rings. I bought Tikka rings on ebay for about $20. Working fine.

Don't know if those were screw ups or what. Did they buy them from a shop or get them directly from a distributor? I talked with CZ about it when I didn't have rings with my Varmint or Lux and they said the only models which have rings are the American. Their website also only shows the American: The CZ 527 American features a classic American pattern stock, a sporter-weight hammer forged barrel, a single set trigger and a recessed target crown. Made to be used with optics, the American version ships with 1″ steel scope rings.I would say anything is possible, but they wouldn't send me rings for the other rifles.

My 527 17 hornet came with rings, like Barm shared it is the American with the standard barrel.....
BTW It's one of my favorite varmint rifles, seems like I can't miss with it! You won't regret getting one!
