I don't know if this is even where I should be asking this, but a web search has turned up little. I am fire forming some 7mm08 Improved cases using new Winchester 7mm08 brass, and I want to use up some bullets and powder that are taking up space. I have a few 130 gr. old style Barnes bullets and a little bit of H380 powder. All of the load data that I can find for Barnes is for the new style bullets, and nothing using H380 powder. Any help appreciated. miles

Old style will generate more pressure than the TSX's with driving bands. If these will just be for fire forming I would pick any mid level load for the plain 7mm-08 and go from there. The fire forming re-leaves pressure so hard to get into trouble there. If the shoulders are rounded add a grain of powder until they come out fully formed. No experience with H380.

Without an old Barnes book to compare with, I was afraid of pressure compared to regular same weight bullets. Thanks for answering. miles
