Seems that is deemed environmentally unsafe, we will all be replacing our A/C units by 2020?
If so, ain't that a racket. If I were in the HVAC industry, I'd lobby to have refrigerate banned once per decade.

Kind of like when the patent ran out on R-12 for cars. Suddenly it was dangerous and had to be replaced with R-134 which had a new patent. Strange coincidence.

Kind of like when the patent ran out on R-12 for cars. Suddenly it was dangerous and had to be replaced with R-134 which had a new patent. Strange coincidence. Yup. Now they've moved on the to the new one, R1234.

R-410A Replaced mine last summer and the new stuff works way better than R22 ever did. Much colder air and much more efficient unit as well.

I think that R-22 is the same as MRP.
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.
