Anyone have any ideas where to find a nice wood stock for a Winchester model 70. Isn't anything special and is far from a lightweight rifle. So figured to restock in a nice wood stock. Have looked at stockys stocks but were backordered on walnut checkered long action stocks.

If you're not in a hurry keep an eye open for take off factory stocks here and on other gun related sites. It isn't uncommon to find like new stocks at good prices when people go with a McMillan or other quality synthetic.
Most people don't really want the truth.

Check CDNN. They have a lot of Winchester stocks at times.

Lots of different stocks for lots of different 70s... you might have better success if you stated exactly which 70 you need a stock for.
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.

I got a beautiful safari express stock from Numrich last year. Great looking stock, check with them.
