I have one of the new Ruger Mini 30 Tactical rifles on the way. It will serve as a "truck gun" and pig rifle. It is unlikely that any shots over 100 yards will be taken. My vision isn't what it used to be, so the peep sight would be a struggle at 100 yards. I have a NIB Trujicon RMR that has never been mounted on anything. Would this sight be appropriate for the Mini 30? If so, mounting suggestions?
Any suggestions as to other sighting systems?
Thanks in advance.

There are several people that make a picatinny base for the Mini. Id start with that and then use a low picatinny rail mount for the RMR. If you ever wanted to put a scope on it you would already have the rail in place.

You can get a rail mount and use what ever you want.

I have more than 10 years with the Weigand 1 piece Picitanny rail on my Mini 14. It allows most anything to be mounted, and in the right place.
