This is an Interarms Mini Mark -X rifle chambered in .223 .According to the date code on the right rear reciever ring this one was made in June of 1987
Interarms stopped importing them in 1992. Not many of these for sale ..
The gun looks great for being 30 years old. Its got a 20" barrel and weighs 6lbs 4ounces.All steel and walnut.
The metal is in 98% condition with no rust and the stock is 98% as well save for a few storage dings. The stock is medium dark walnut with a 13.75" LOP.The stock has a high Monte Carlo cheekrest for a good cheek weld with a scope .The factory sights are also present and there is also a one peice Weaver mount on the gun.
It feeds and function fine .The action is nice and smooth with a crisp 2.5lb pull. The barrel has an bright bore and the gun shoots very well. Just over 1" for three shots @100 with cheap Federal 55g FMJ and about .75" with the Win 45g HP factory stuff and Federal AE 50G HP. The gun is consistently putting two of three shots under 1/2" apart in every group. It should be no trick to get this rifle to shoot half in or under for three shots with some refined handloads.
My price is $450 shipped from my FFL to yours. US Postal MO as payment. Thanks!
