Bought an exploder, aptly named 3.6L V6 put in sideways doncha know

. Mainly so my daughter would have something to haul her kids around in. Have had it for a year, been well maintained. She drove to town the other day, came home and hubby went to take it for job interview.

Clackety clack, from the motor. Internet research leads to A. Possible cracked cylinder wall, happens with this model I guess B: SIL a hd mech thinks it might be a timing belt slipped or loosened it has two ???

of course not much can be done without pulling the motor unless you smart guys have other ideas to check before we go loosening up motor mounts.

Thanks for any "sound" advice. Yes I know it's a Ford, it's the second one I've bought in 40 some years. Everything else in the driveway is GM or Yota, well one fancy Volkswagon (it's a PORCH! )

I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.

Randy, don't make me look it up but isn't it a 3.5l?

My wife has a 2011 Limited......Ford's version of pimp......grin

That thing will boogie down the road like a raped ape.

+100mph once when she was napping on the way to Miles City.

No engine advise, hers has less than 20k miles so hardly a test. Goes through batteries though, all that electric chit must eat them up.
