People on here post pics of beautiful homes they've bought or built, give wonderful accounts of expensive African Safaris, show pics of boats, planes, cool cars and motorcycles, as well as guns costing many thousands of dollars, if you're searching for truth, there it is, people can only post pics and talk about the things they actually have and what they like to do, that's no BS truth in a nutshell.

You just have to say that you are interested in hunting and want to learn. Already you have said that a 223 is all that you need to hunt with. But after you go into your long soliquoy, then you admitted that you never hunted. Are you crazy? Its not even legal in most state in L48. Sure you can kill big game animals with small centerfire caliber weapons with perfect conditions and sound shot placement but you can injure more even if things are perfect. In Alaska, people who try to lead with their mouth generally either get monkeystomped at the bar or become bear scat.


There are a lot of guys on this forum who work hard. I teach public school, sling freight at Sportsman's Warehouse, work at our giftshop in Pioneer Park and can guarantee that if I get 5 hours a night of sleep I am a lucky SOB. Best thing you could do is come out and say I like the idea of hunting and would like to learn. So far Gunner has taken a shine to you. But we are all getting ready to put you on ignore this user.
