My father walked on to Okinawa a 19 yr/old Private, 22nd Battalion, 6th Marines. When he left he was the youngest Staff Sergeant in the Corps, battlefield promotions. He never would speak of what went on there to us kids. Out of the blue one time at a McDonald's just outside the West Point gate an old guy looks at my then-16 yr old nephew and asks if his last name was O'Birdy, my nephew says no but that was his grandfather's name. The old guy gives my Dad's full name and asks if that was him, then he says he was my Dad's commanding officer and that my Dad saved his life twice on Okinawa. That was ten years back, my nephew didn't know enough to get the guy's contact info, we looked, all the records form back then are lost.

My Dad was the son of Irish immigrants who hated the Brits, he married a Brit who was the daughter of Irish immigrants who obviously didn't. I live and work surrounded by Hispanics who have been American like four generations at least.

But... back to my Dad, he was about the kindest and quietest individual you'd ever want to meet, totally devoted to family, a believing Catholic. Didn't hate anyone, not even the Japanese.

No one seems to use facts, or arguments here, just name calling. I stood up for Outbackcandy's post. However, I will also call out his inaccuracies. The native Americans were killing each other long before the European's arrived. Most parts of the Movie Appocolipto were accurate. One way the US was able to conquer the content was because the Europeans were willing to fight the enemies of another tribe. I would guess that most people killed in history, were killed by their own race.

Obviously the score was even better then, but today it's still 1/0.
