Though a different thread would be in order seeing this hunting fishing site

Spent a great day away from the chaos and hiked up to a remote mountain lake a friend. Brought the rifle along in case I saw a bear and a fly rod to catch trout. Bonus was all the huckleberries we picked. Saw one bear quite a few elk and grouse and snow shoes hares. Washington state

Beautiful fish. There's nothing like a brookie or the wild creeks and rivers that they live in.

They are a beautiful fish. I wonder why they transplanted brook trout there when cutts are native?

I think it was probably because brookies are so much more aggressive and easier to catch. Makes them popular.

Up off of 410

Sorry berry honey holes just as valuable as my chukar hot spots. Hike in a few miles and all the lakes up there hold fish. Suggest packing in a float tube

I was hoping to catch a golden trout as they are reportedly in this lake.

I love to catch west slopes on dries
